Make an informed decision before buying

I purchased this app with hopes of a Windows like window snapping feature. I thought that for the $6.99 price tag I would get that experience. I was wrong! What I’m left with is a very average app that I have already uninstalled from both my Macbook Pro and iMac because I personally do not find it all that useful.

It does give you the ability to snap windows to either the left or the right side of the screen. It also gives you the ability to snap at the top to make the window full screen as stated.

It DOES NOT work for all apps. For example; while I was trying to learn about Garageband, I wanted Safari and Garageband open together side by side with each window taking up half of the screen. It would only resize Garageband to the width that Garageband was limited to. Also, it doesn’t allow you to snap four windows taking up a quarter of the screen each either. I feel that you have to drag the window much further than I like to each edge of the screen to get them to snap.

I give it three stars because it does as stated. It just isn’t stellar in any way and doesn’t do any better than OS X’s native split screen in El Capitan and minor resizing. If you don’t mind it’s short comings than you may personally find it useful.
